WEnsocare Enters into Reseller Agreement with Direct Patient Logistics

New Relationship Expected to Drive Utilization of Discharge Management Solutions and Provide Additional Options for Patients During Care Transitions

(Omaha, NE) Ensocare, a CQuence Health Group company, announced today that Direct Patient Logistics (DPL), a division of Air Methods, will serve as a reseller of its technology-enabled care coordination solutions. The agreement will enhance utilization of Ensocare’s full-service care coordination software while allowing DPL to augment its patient transfer service offerings for its hospital partners.

“We are excited to welcome Direct Patient Logistics as a resale partner,” said Luis Castillo, Ensocare President and CEO. “The agreement will allow both our companies to have an expanded ability to reach those patients most in need of post-acute options,” he added.

Direct Patient Logistics President Wayne Sensor said, “This is a tremendous opportunity for DPL and Ensocare to partner in offering solutions that improve the care transition process. As healthcare service providers, we both look for ways to assist our hospital partners in reducing risk, becoming more efficient and managing costs, all the while focusing on the important job of caring for patients.”

Today’s hospital patients and their families are often faced with difficult post-acute decisions without access to adequate information to make those choices. Ensocare’s software uses cloud-based technology to automate the patient discharge process and includes solutions for ongoing post-acute patient monitoring, patient education and predictive analytics. DPL works with more than 250 hospitals across the nation to facilitate patient transfers.
